Fish finger is a unique recipe probably invented in the United Kingdom.Now it is famous all over world.It can be used like snacks.So let us start

Measurements And Ingredients:

2 tablespoons    lemon juice

1 teaspoon         salt

1/2 teaspoon      red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon      turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon      Pepper

1/2 teaspoon     Mustard  powder

2 teaspoon         mustard oil

500 gram           Fish cut into 8 cm + 1 1/2 cm +1 1/2 cm pieces

1 egg beaten

Oil for Frying (400 ml).


  1. At first boil the fish in a pot using normal water,then remove all the thorn of fish.Take a bowl and add this fish,mix oil, lemon juice, chilli powder, turmeric powder, Salt pepper and mustard powder.Mix gently. Keep covered in a cool place for 1/2 hour.
  2. Heat oil in pan on high heat for about 5 minutes.Take out the above prepared mixture and give shape. Roll all pieces in egg and then cover in bread crumbs. Add one after the other in hot oil. Reduce heat to medium -high. Fry till light golden brown. Remove and drain. Fry remaining pieces in the same way, increasing heat after each batch. Serve hot, accompanied with tomato ketchup.Try this recipe and give us to feedback.
