Soya Chunk kofta curry Recipe

Soya chunks are very good protein provider for vegetarians. soya has several health benefits and is highly recommended for vegetarians or non meat eaters.So today we make a unique recipe name Soya Kofta.

Measurements & Ingredients:

 

Grinding Of Soya bean

Soya chunks 200gm

Soya kofta

Gingerpaste 1tablespoons

Garlic paste 1tablespoons

Onion chopped 50gm

Coriander powder 1teaspoons

Cumin powder  1teaspoons

Red chilli powder 1teaspoons

Salt  1 teaspoon (as per taste)

Ginger  chopped  1 teaspoon

Garlic  chopped   1 teaspoon

Green chilli  chopped  11/2 teaspoon

Tomatoo chopped ( 1)

Turmeric powder 1(1/3) teaspoon

Bay leaf (2)

Garam masala powder 2 teaspoon

Gram flour  (50gm)Besan

Oil _ to fry

Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons

Coriander leaves 2 teaspoons

Procedure:

  • Take a pot add 600ml water and boil in to it. Place soya chunks in to boiling water. The soya chunks to boil 5 mints on medium flame.
  • Drain the soya chunks, Gently press the soya chunks between you palm to drain the excess water from it.
  • Grind soya chunks in to a paste
  • Take a bowl add soya paste ,green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, ginger &garlic chopped, garam masala,  and gram flour. Mix the kofta mixture well.
  • Equally divide the kofta mixture and make medium size kofta balls with your hand. All the kofta /balls are made of equal size.
  • Heat in oil place one by one kofta in ta the hot oil. Fry kofta on all the Side equally at medium flame.
  • When the kofta get golden brown colour. Remove the oil, kofta are ready.
  • Heat a Pan add oil in to the skilled and place bay leaf in to the hot oil.Then chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Add ginger &garlic paste, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and chopped tomato. Stir fry about (10 mints)   cook on medium-low heat, stirring gentle every two minutes.
  • When the masala starts leaving oil at the edgs that means masala is ready. Add water in to the masala. Mix it. Add the water as per your convenience, Now increase the flame. Boil the gravy add kofta cook it for 5 mints on low flame. Add garam masala. Now the soya kofta curry is ready.
  • Serve hot,granished with remaining coriander leaves.
